About The Show and Special Guests

Providing a ‘funtastic’ day out, jam-packed with farmyard fun, the show is a sell-out each year with lots of indoor and outdoor activities.

The show is held when many schools have broken up for the Easter Holidays (the day before Good Friday) each year.

The show opens at 10am and closes at 5pm

Ticket prices are £11 for adults, £6 for children 3-15yrs (under 2 yrs old free) plus transaction and service fees

Activity Booklet and Stamp Trail

Children can collect an activity book at the beginning of their day then follow a trail marked on the map to various stop off points where they stamp their booklet. Completed booklets can be handed in at the information stand in Bay 2 of Avon Hall and a chocolatey prize will given as a reward.

Shopping & Information Stands

There will be a range of trade stands providing shopping experiences or opportunities to learn more information about organisations.

Show Theme 2025

Get ready to get your hands dirty at CountryTastic 2025, where this year’s theme is all about exploring the journey of growth! From digging deep into the soil to planting seeds and watching them flourish, “Dig – Plant – Grow” celebrates the wonders of farming, gardening, and the natural world.

Perfect for families and young explorers, this year’s event will be packed with interactive activities and hands-on workshops, varying from recycled arts and crafts, cooking, planting seeds to sporting fun, there will be something for everyone to enjoy. Come and watch the inspiring demonstrations and special performances that will spark creativity and imagination. Whether you’re a budding gardener, an animal lover, or simply curious about where our food comes from, CountryTastic 2025 is the perfect place to learn, grow, and have fun together.

Celebrity Meet and Greet 2025 in the Muddy Boots Theatre

Families will be able to meet Ally Hunter Blair and JLS star and farmer, JB Gill. Visitors will also be able to hear from them as part of family friendly talks in the Muddy Boots Theatre. Peter Rabbit will also be holding mini boogie sessions throughout the day too! Find out more here.
