Arts & Crafts

There are so many arts & crafts activities for youngsters to get involved in and the vast majority of the activities are free of charge.

Check out who hosted hands on activities at CountryTastic in 2024:

Face Painting

Children could get their face painted with fantastic, colorful designs of their choosing. Please note, there will be a surcharge for face painting.

Pottery Workshop

Famililes could come and make a trug full of cartoon super hero fruit or veg under the expert tutelage of Eastnor Pottery & The Flying Potter, such as a punnet of Spider Strawbs or a trug full of turnip titans. They could take their creations away on the day and paint them at home.

Art Studios Ross

Children could have a go at making super hero puppets, superhero wooden badges, colouring worksheets and garland making.

Willow Weaving

Children and adults of all ages could roll up your sleeves and get willow weaving willow crowns and a Teepee Tree with Chris Oakey! This 6ft tall shelter allows children to crawl inside to explore, role-play and allow their imaginations to run wild.

Herefordshire & Worcestershire Earth Heritage Trust

There was chance to view range of fossils, rocks and minerals including Vernon the Velociraptor!

Kids could even bring their own fossil to be identified and have a go at making a badge!

Lets Waste Less

Lets Waste Less brought games and activities, as well as an interactive food waste display.

Families could learn all about composting and the creatures involved and the benefit to the soil, and understand the principle of food being a resource that shouldn’t be wasted.

Choccotastic Chocolate Workshops

Back by popular demand, Choccotastic brought their chocolate art workshop which provided some extremely fun mess making! They also had their handmade chocolate available to purchase.

Little Muddy Boots – NEW!

Children could try a wide range of interactive workshops with Little Muddy Boots, including a mud kitchen, seed planting, story telling and craft sessions.

Ladies In Pigs 

Ladies in Pigs taught children how to make simple, fun food using British produce and healthy easy to cook recipes to try at home, which helps them understand  how food gets from field to fork.

Rainbow Wraps

Children could get involved in making healthy and tasty wraps and learn all about the importance of not wasting food.

Croome Cuisine

Children had great fun mixing and pressing cheese after watching an informative cheese making demonstration.
